Szidónia Lőrincz is a Romanian-born, France-based photographer whose documentary and commercial work explores the emotional landscape of travel, belonging, and cultural identity. Raised in the Hungarian diaspora in rural Transylvania, she grew up between worlds—an experience that seeded her fascination with language, heritage, and place. Her early relationship with photography began with a red Kodak film camera gifted by her parents, and over the years evolved into a lifelong commitment to storytelling and visual exploration.
Szidónia’s long-term documentary projects focus on themes of displacement, creativity, and human connection, from documenting refugee journeys in Central America to her current work following the creation of a music album inside Abbey Road Studios. With an immersive and observational style, she brings viewers into intimate moments often hidden from public view. Her commercial interior and travel photography complement her documentary work by offering a meditative visual rhythm and sustainable means of continuing long-term storytelling. Her work has been published in international travel outlets and exhibited in Hungary and Malta. A 2020 recipient of the Business Excellence Award for Cultural Awareness Media Project (Americas), Szidónia continues to explore photography as a bridge between cultures, values, and people.
