I am a Romanian-born, nomadic photographer working between documentary and commercial projects, guided by questions of travel, belonging, and cultural identity. I grew up in the Hungarian diaspora in rural Transylvania, surrounded by mountains, languages, and a strong sense of community that always felt both rooted and slightly out of place. That experience shaped my way of seeing the world and my desire to understand what it means to call somewhere home. My relationship with photography began early, with a small red Kodak camera my parents gave me, and slowly grew into a lifelong commitment to visual storytelling.
My long-term documentary work circles around themes of displacement, creativity, and human connection. This has taken me from documenting refugee journeys in Central America to my ongoing project following the creation of an album inside Abbey Road Studios. I work in an immersive and observational way, staying close to my subjects and paying attention to quiet, intimate moments that often remain unseen. My work has been published in international travel outlets and exhibited in Hungary and Malta, and in 2020 I received the Business Excellence Award for Best Cultural Awareness Media Project in the Americas. Through all of this, I continue to see photography as a way to build bridges between cultures, people, and ways of being in the world.
